Devil May Cry 4 is...

  • Feb. 10th, 2008 at 10:20 PM
DMC - Vergil x Dante
...the reason I've been neglecting my LJ lately. Well, that and the fact that I have been in a really anti-social mood lately. I've been totally blah since my birthday; I've even been cancelling my driving lessons. Ugh. I just need to get out of my own head if you know what I mean. Anyway, like I said, I have Devil May Cry 4 so I'll likely not be around until I complete that but then I will totally make an effort to be a better LJer.

P.S. Do I have any fellow DMC fans on my list? I feel the need to fangirl over the game with someone!!

P.P.S Henna - BSB is playing AGAIN, did you phone the TV company and force them to play BSB all day or what man?!?! LMFAO.

Chin up;)

Yo know, it occurs to me I've never played even a demo of DMC. How on earth have I managed that over the years? Mind you, I pretty much such at those kind of games.

Boss battles, argh! *l*

Ha! I'm a total sucker for action adventure/platformers. Unfortunately the Xbox has mostly first person shooters which I both hate and suck at. This is the best game to be released on the 'box so far (IMHO) I had high hopes for Assassin's Creed but after a while it was just so repetitive I could barely stand to play it. Oh and the fighting! If you can even call it fighting! It was more like what you'd expect from an RPG. You know that "my turn, your turn" type of "fight"? TEDIOUS!

Boss battles, argh! *l*

OMFG! I know! I have been so close to throwing the controller at the screen during some of the fights!! But so far I have been able to defeat them all myself on Devil Hunter mode, so it's about a billion times easier than DMC3! (On DMC3 I had to use, like, Super Duper Easy Peasy Mode or some shit, it was pretty embarrassing haha.) Usually I end up crying and handing the controller to JP. I know, I'm a terrible cheat!

ETA: Apparently I spoke too soon. ARGH! Stupid boss! Why won't you die?! *cries* My right hand feels like it might drop off...

Super Duper Easy Peasy Mode or some shit

Every mode I've ever used... ever!

And my turn, your turn battles are why I've never managed to buy or play more than five minutes of most RPGs. Yes, FF series, I'm looking at you!

Hahaha! I guess you're as hopeless as me then, I find that kind of comforting (sorry!) hee!

Urgh. FF series! Why are they are so damn looooong? I had FF7 but after about SEVENTY YEARS of playing it I just had to give up.

Oh well, back to the game then. I say the game, I actually mean "back to beating my head against a brick wall" which is what this boss fight feels like right now!

*l* I think it's more a case of over the years wanting to play games to have fun (hence easy) and not struggle with frustration until I give up (hurls the Buffy game out of the window- bloody protect Tara).

Okami is one of those games where everything would be perfect, if not for bosses and timed quests. Re-painting the landscape was the best part, with such a great sense of achievement, and beautiful to boot.

Darn it, now I want to play something!!

Well, that is just sensible. I always seem to pick the challenging ones, I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment!

Hahaha. The only reason I got out of bed this morning was to play DMC ;) Oh and I defeated that boss HURRAH!

You cancelled driving lessons huh? Damn crappy mood. I can relate(I was picture happy but I'm kind post weary). Hope you feel better soon.

I miss the Playstation, I wish I'd waited for the PS3 instead of getting a Xbox!

Yeah, I feel bad about it, but I just can't face driving at the moment. Awww I hope you fell better too *hugs*
